My art and my studio space are my shelter, a place where I'm transported from the realities of life to a place of calm and endless possibilities. I love painting with oil for the freedom it allows and the depth of color. My visceral reaction to color ignites and guides my creativity.

My work is both abstract and representational with surrealistic overtones. My subject matter reflects profound memories of people and experiences from my past.

I am witness to my own evolution as an artist. Just as I have been inspired by the past, currently I am inspired by thoughts of what the future may hold. Although things seem grim on a global basis, I am determined to find some optimism.

I am fortunate to experience a wonderful sense of well being from my art.
